CHICK-FIL-A COPYCAT CHICKEN SANDWICHES

These delicious sandwiches will surely satisfy your cravings. Give it a try now and enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Kosher salt and ground pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

Peanut oil, for frying

1 Egg

½ c milk

¾ c all-purpose flour

¼ c whole-wheat flour

1 tbsp dry milk

1 tbsp powdered sugar

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp dry mustard

1 sour pickle, cut into eight slices

4 soft hamburger buns, split

3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Directions:

Step 1: Add the milk, egg, 2 tablespoons of water, and ½ teaspoon of paprika in a shallow baking dish. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2: In a separate baking dish, add the dry milk, both types of flour, baking soda, dry milk, ½ teaspoon of paprika, dry mustard, ½ teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 3: Place a heavy-bottomed pot on the stove and turn the heat to about 325 degrees F.

Step 4: Add about 2-inches of peanut oil and allow it to become hot.

Step 5: Meanwhile, dip the chicken breasts into the egg mixture, then into the flour. Make sure to shake off any excess flour.

Step 6: Add the coated chicken into the hot oil and fry for about 4 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 7: Remove from the hot oil and place the fried chicken breasts on a place lined with paper towels.

Step 8: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 9: Butter the buns and place them onto the hot skillet. Toast for a few minutes.

Step 10: Butter the toasted buns again and top each bun with 2 moist pickle slices.

Step 11: Put a fried chicken breast over each bun.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
