If you love Mexican dishes, this is for you. Hearty, super satisfying, and a great dinner option that your family will surely enjoy! A budget-friendly dish that you can easily and quickly whip up.

Ingredients

1/2 lb large shells pasta

1 tbsp canola oil

1 lb ground beef

1 yellow onion (diced)

4 cloves garlic (minced)

2 tbsp taco seasoning

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp red pepper flakes

3/4 c. water

1 c. jarred salsa

1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese (shredded)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Garnish:

Cheese

Crushed tortilla chips

Sour cream

Chopped parsley

How to make Cheesy Taco Pasta

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta until al dente. When done, drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 2: Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet once the oil begins to sizzle and cook, breaking the meat using a spoon until no longer pink. Drain the excess grease when done.

Step 3: To the skillet with the beef, add the onion and garlic. Stir and continue to cook for a minute more. Then, add the taco seasoning along with the dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Pour in 3/4 cup of water. Stir and cook further until the water is gone.

Step 4: Now add the pasta followed by the salsa and cheese. Stir well until mixed.

Step 5: Remove from the heat when done and serve immediately with crunchy tortilla chips, sour cream, and extra cheese on top. Enjoy!
