This Cheesy Taco Pasta is a breeze to make. A scrumptious meaty and cheesy dinner option that is ready in under thirty minutes from start to finish. Perfect for when you are craving a fusion of Mexican and Italian meals. This easy recipe is a straight genius! Hats off to whoever thought of this amazing dish!

Ingredients

1/2 lb large shells pasta

1 tbsp canola oil

1 lb ground beef

1 yellow onion (diced)

4 cloves garlic (minced)

2 tbsp taco seasoning

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp red pepper flakes

3/4 c. water

1 c. jarred salsa

1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese (shredded)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Garnish:

Cheese

Crushed tortilla chips

Sour cream

Chopped parsley

How to make Cheesy Taco Pasta

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta. Drain when done and set aside.

Step 2: Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef in the hot oil and cook while breaking the meat up using a spoon until no longer pink. Drain the excess grease when done.

Step 3: To the ground beef, add the onion and garlic and cook while stirring for about a minute. Add in the taco seasoning, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, 3/4 cup of water. Stir until everything is incorporated and continue to cook until the water has evaporated.

Step 4: To the pan, add the pasta along with the salsa and cheese, then stir to mix.

Step 5: Remove from the heat when done and serve immediately with crunchy tortilla chips, sour cream, and extra cheese on top. Enjoy!
