This recipe is incredibly easy and quick to throw together using only four ingredients. A super cheesy and delicious casserole that’s excellent for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Feel free to make this the night before and when the morning comes, simply pop it in the oven for an easy breakfast that your family will love throughout!

With minimal prep work and thirty minutes in the oven, you’ll have this casserole on your dinner table in no time. This is also perfect for serving a big crowd or if you want something easy, quick, and delicious for brunch. I love it so much, I even serve this for dinner!

I am a huge fan of easy recipes. They are a life saviour, and most of the simplest recipes are the best! For this recipe, all you need are a can of crescent rolls, 1 pound mild breakfast sausage, 6 eggs, and of course cheese. Layer them on a greased baking dish, then pop in the oven. If prepping in advance, brown the sausage and store it in the fridge so the next day, you’ll just have to throw everything together and bake. Or to make your life easier and save time, assemble the casserole, cover it, and store it in the fridge, then bake the next day.

Ingredients

1 lb mild breakfast sausage

1 can crescent rolls

1/4 c. butter

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

6 eggs, beaten

How to make Cheesy Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Using nonstick cooking spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: In a skillet, cook the sausage until no longer pink. When done, drain the excess grease.

Step 4: In the bottom of the prepared baking dish, spread the crescent rolls, then top with the sausage. Pour the eggs over it and liberally top with cheese.

Step 5: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 30 minutes.
