6-7 c. potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 c. green onions, thinly sliced

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees F.
Step 2: Place the potatoes, cheddar cheese, garlic salt, bacon, and green onions in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Mix well until combined. Then, add the mayonnaise and stir again.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top of the dish is golden brown.
