This is one heck of comfort food, Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Stuffing Bake is my pride and my family’s favourite. My mom taught me how to make this, said that when I have a family of my own that I will thank her. And I couldn’t agree more.
Broccoli and chicken in an easy creamy cheese sauce combined and topped with stuffing. Packed with protein and nutrients, this dish is the perfect weird combo. So deliciously uncanny and satisfying. Your family sure will love this including your pickiest eaters!
Ingredients
1 1/2 – 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces
1 box stove top stuffing mix chicken flavour
1 package (8 ounces) Velvetta cheese (cut in small cubes)
1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s cream of chicken soup
1 bag (14 ounces) frozen broccoli florets (thawed and drained)
2 tablespoons butter (for this recipe, I used country crock)
salt and pepper, to taste
How to make Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Stuffing Bake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.
Step 2: Ready the Stove Top Chicken Flavor Stuffing Mix as per the instruction written on the box, then set aside.
Step 3: In a pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, add the chicken and cook until brown.
Step 4: Add in the Cream of Chicken Soup. Mix well.
Step 5: Stir in the thawed and drained Broccoli, then the Velvetta Cheese.
Step 6: Combine, then transfer the pan-cooked ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch butter greased baking dish.
Step 7: On top, add the stuffing and spread the ingredients on an even layer.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
Step 9: When done, remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
