Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

by Rebecca April 30, 2020

My hubby’s favourite, cheesecake! One slice of this delicious and creamy dessert is not enough for him. He always wants more and I can’t blame him. Its creamy cream cheese filling is heaven! So whenever he craves for it, I am always to the rescue. Why not? This Cheesecake Crescent roll is very easy to make. I can even prepare it with my eyes close! No kidding, I’ve made it countless times already! And I always make sure that we have some in the fridge.

By the way, tomorrow is our wedding anniversary. Ten years! Would you believe it? That is why I want everything to be perfect and extra special. I already plan a dinner for two on our rooftop and dessert? Of course, a slice of his favourite Cheesecake Crescent Roll made by yours truly.

INGREDIENTS

2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent rolls

2 (8-ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened

1 cup of sugar

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup of butter, melted

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

2 Tbsp. sugar

How to make Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: At the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, unroll and spread one can of crescent roll. You can also use an 8 x 8-inch pan if you want to cut the recipe in half.

Step 3:  In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla. Spread evenly over the crescent roll layer. Unroll the other crescent roll over the cream cheese layer. Spread melted butter over the top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Step 4: Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20 to 30 minutes in 350 degrees F until bubbly and colour are slightly brown.

Once done. Remove from the oven. Drizzle with a little honey (this is optional) and let it cool for a bit. Slice a piece and enjoy!
