Cheesecake Cookie Dough Bars

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 30 mins | Total Time: 45 mins | Yield: 15 Bars

These heavenly treats are so good! You need this in your life, I’m telling you. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

CRUST

1 – 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/3 cup melted butter

2 Tablespoons sugar

FILLING

1 – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup sugar

1 Egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

COOKIE DOUGH

1/3 cup butter, softened

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup flour

2/3 cup chocolate chips

A Pinch of salt

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 160 degrees C or 325 degrees F.

Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, add the butter, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Apply cooking spray on a 9×9-inch baking pan.

Step 4: Transfer the batter crumbs mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it hard on the bottom.

Step 5: Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake for about 5 minutes.

Step 6: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool.

Step 7: In a small mixing bowl, add 1/3 cup of sugar and cream cheese. Whisk until well blended.

Step 8: Add the vanilla and egg. Beat until well mixed.

Step 9: Spread the mixture over the cooled crust.

Step 10: In a small mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and sugar. Whisk until well combined.

Step 11: Add 3/4 cup of flour and salt. Stir until the mixture becomes a dough.

Step 12: Add in the chocolate chips and stir until well mixed.

Step 13: Make small balls out of the cookie dough.

Step 14: Break some of the dough and sprinkle them on top of the cheesecake layer.

Step 15: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes or until the top turns brown.

Step 16: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool.

Step 17: Cut it into small bars.

Step 18: Serve and enjoy!

Note:

Place any leftovers in an airtight container.
