Servings: 9

Quick and easy Butter Swim Biscuits that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, even dinner! And with only a few simple ingredients, anyone can make this. Serve this with any meal or enjoy with a little jam or jelly spread on top. Yum!

When I first made this, everyone was amazed and surprised at how delicious these biscuits are. Finding out that this is super easy to throw together, all my friends begged me for the recipe. And I gladly shared this exact recipe! It’s not a surprise that this hit the chart quickly! All you need are some basic, readily available ingredients to make this no-fuss biscuit recipe. No doubt, this recipe is a must and to keep!

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

2 c. buttermilk

1 stick butter

4 teaspoons baking powder

4 teaspoons sugar

2 teaspoons salt

How to make Butter Swim Biscuits

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees.

Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

Step 3: Add in the buttermilk and mix until a moist dough has formed.

Step 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Pour this into an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Remember not to use a too small or shallow pan as the butter might drip out of the pan while baking.

Step 5: Over the melted butter, place the dough, evenly spreading it with a spatula until it touches the sides of the pan.

Step 6: Now, slice the unbaked dough into 9 even squares.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Step 8: Serve these biscuits for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with any meal or eat them with some raspberry jam.
