HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO HONEY HOT WINGS AND TRADITIONAL BUFFALO HOT WINGS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: For easy cleanup, line a baking sheet with foil. With baking rack/oven-proof cooling rack, top the baking sheet and lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3: Mix the Rub ingredients in a medium bowl. Then, to a large freezer bag, add half of the rub ingredients, then half of the wings, and shake to evenly coat. On the prepared baking rack, line the wing. Make sure to leave enough space so they are not touching. To the same freezer bag, add the rest of the Run and wings and do the same step.
Step 4: Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes on the upper-middle rack. Move the oven rack to about 6 to 8 inches from the broiler. Broil the wings to desired crispiness. Flip the wings and broil the other side.
Step 5: In the meantime, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the rest of the sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil while occasionally stirring. Reduce to a simmer and continue to cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened a bit. Add more hot sauce if you want a spicier sauce or extra honey for a sweeter sauce.
Step 6: Add the chicken to a large bowl and pour the sauce over. Using a spatula, toss gently until the wings are evenly coated.
Step 7: Serve the wings with your desired dip like Blue Cheese or Ranch Dip. Enjoy!
