Grab a piece of this amazing Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring. The perfect game day appetizer and for entertaining the crowd. A fun way to serve your good old buffalo chicken. I enjoy making this all time and it never fails to impress everyone!

Ingredients

4 ounces cream cheese (half of 8-ounces package), softened

1/4 c. hot sauce or red pepper sauce

2 1/2 c. chopped cooked chicken (1/2” pieces)

1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 ounces)

2 cans (8 ounces each) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent rolls

1/3 c. crumbled blue cheese

How to make Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.

Step 2: Place the cream cheese with the hot sauce in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Add in the chicken and shredded cheese and mix until just combined.

Step 3: Separate into 16 triangles the unrolled cans of dough. Arrange them in a ring on an ungreased large cookie sheet with short sides forming a 5-inch circle in the middle, overlapping each dough. It should look like a sun.

Step 4: On half of each triangle closest to the middle of the ring, spoon the cream cheese mixture, then top with blue cheese crumbles. Now, over the filling, bring each dough triangle. Secure the filling by tucking the dough under the bottom layer of the dough. Do this until the whole filling is closed in.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the dough is golden brown and completely cooked. Remove from the oven when done and allow it to cool for at least 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Tips:

Serve this Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring with celery, carrot sticks, and a side of blue cheese dressing.

For this recipe, you can use leftover cut-up cooked chicken or deli rotisserie chicken you find in supermarkets. Remove the bones and slice the meat into bite-size pieces.
