Recipes like this are one of the best recipes. You do not need lengthy or complicated steps, even a long list of ingredients. Whip this up simply by using ingredients you have already in hand and pop in the oven. In no time you have a perfectly flavored dish that is guaranteed to be the star of the show!

Ingredients

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 ½ pound pork tenderloin

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

salt and pepper, to season

¼ c. brown sugar

Brown Sugar Dijon Dipping Sauce:

1 1/2 to 2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp mayonnaise

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

How to make Brown Sugar Dijon Pork Tenderloin

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Season both sides of the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the pork tenderloin to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Set the seared pork tenderloin aside when done.

Step 4: In an oven-proof pan, transfer the pork tenderloin and brush with the Dijon mustard. Over each pork tenderloin, sprinkle the brown sugar, pressing gently using your fingers to absorb it.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, uncovered, until the internal temperature of the pork tenderloin reached 145 degrees F. Take the pan off the oven when done and allow the pork tenderloin to sit for approximately 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.

Step 6: If desired, serve the pork tenderloin with brown sugar, and Dijon dipping sauce (a mixture of Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and brown sugar). Enjoy!
