Tender and juicy pork chops cooked in a savoury honey garlic sauce. An easy and quick recipe to make whenever. Feed your family only the best!
This delicious dish takes only fifteen minutes to make with easy to find ingredients. Goes perfectly with just about anything, but my favourite is to enjoy this alongside sauteed asparagus and mashed potatoes.
INGREDIENTS
15 ounces centre-cut boneless pork chops (3 pork chops)
salt
ground black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chopped Italian parsley, for garnishing
HONEY SAUCE:
2 1/2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
3 dashes cayenne pepper
HOW TO MAKE BONELESS PORK CHOPS
Step 1: Ready the pork chops. Season both sides with salt and ground black pepper.
Step 2: Combine the Honey Sauce ingredients (honey, warm water, salt, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper).
Step 3: In a heated cast-iron skillet over high heat, add the vegetable oil and a tbsp butter. Add the pork chops and sear for 3 to 4 minutes on both sides, uninterrupted until brown. Turn on the other side and brown.
Step 4: To one side of the skillet, push the pork chops, then add the rest of the butter. Add and saute the garlic for approximately 10 seconds until light brown.
Step 5: Into the skillet, pour the honey garlic sauce. Continue to cook until the liquid has reduced, has a thicker consistency, and turns amber brown. Make sure to spoon the sauce over the chops while cooking.
Step 6: When done, remove from the heat. Garnish with parsley and serve quickly. Enjoy!
