15 ounces centre-cut boneless pork chops (3 pork chops)
salt
ground black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chopped Italian parsley, for garnishing
HONEY SAUCE:
2 1/2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
3 dashes cayenne pepper
HOW TO MAKE BONELESS PORK CHOPS
Step 1: On both sides, season the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper.
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the honey sauce ingredients; honey, warm water, salt, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper until well mixed.
Step 3: Heat vegetable oil and a tbsp butter in a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
Step 4: Once hot, add and fry the pork chops for about 3 to 4 minutes, uninterrupted on each side until brown, flipping once.
Step 5: Shift the pork chops to one side of the skillet before adding the rest of the butter.
Step 6: Saute the garlic for about 10 seconds until lightly brown, then add the honey sauce. Continue to cook until the sauce has reduced, became thicker, and turned amber brown.
Step 7: Coat the pork chops with the sauce by spooning the sauce over.
Step 8: Remove from the heat and garnish the pork chops with parsley.
Step 9: Serve quickly. Enjoy!
