This casserole is my mom’s favourite. She passed this same recipe to me when I turned eighteen. And it is our family’s tradition to serve this on Christmas morning. Ingredients
1 pound sausage
1(1 1/2 ounces) package pork gravy mix
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 Eggs
1/2 cup milk
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
8 ounces can biscuits (1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits)
How to make Biscuits and Gravy Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Grease with Pam a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Step 3: Ready the biscuits. Divide them into inch pieces and place them in the bottom of the pan.
Step 4: Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuits followed by the Cheddar Cheese.
Step 5: In a bowl, add the eggs and milk and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until combined, then pour this over the pan.
Step 6: Prepare the gravy mix following the package directions. Pour this on top of the milk mixture.
Step 7: Place the casserole inside the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
