Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Care for a hot breakfast that sticks to your ribs? This Biscuits and Gravy Casserole is just what you need. With only six main ingredients (biscuits, eggs, sausage, milk, gravy, and cheese) and easy steps, this filling casserole dish is ready in no time! A must for every occasion to a simple Sunday morning breakfast.

This casserole is my mom’s favourite. She passed this same recipe to me when I turned eighteen. And it is our family’s tradition to serve this on Christmas morning. We bond over this delicious casserole, share a good laugh and talk about memories of the past. No leftovers guaranteed because everyone wants another plateful until nothings left! Make this today, and I am pretty sure that your whole family will love this.

Ingredients

1 pound sausage

1(1 1/2 ounces) package pork gravy mix

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

6 Eggs

1/2 cup milk

salt to taste

black pepper to taste

8 ounces can biscuits (1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits)

How to make Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Grease with Pam a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Step 3: Ready the biscuits. Divide them into inch pieces and place them in the bottom of the pan.

Step 4: Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuits followed by the Cheddar Cheese.

Step 5: In a bowl, add the eggs and milk and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until combined, then pour this over the pan.

Step 6: Prepare the gravy mix following the package directions. Pour this on top of the milk mixture.

Step 7: Place the casserole inside the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
