Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

Start your day right with this filling casserole. A delicious Biscuit and Gravy Casserole made with six ingredients and ready in under thirty minutes!

Sausage, egg, cheese, and milk are a staple during breakfast. Throw them together in a simple casserole dish, and you have the most filling meal of your life. A complete meal in one that you can make in a snap. Your family will thank you for this, a stick to your ribs hot breakfast casserole with either a homemade gravy or right from the pouch. Be brunch-ready whenever!

Ingredients

10 ounces tube of buttermilk biscuit dough

6 Eggs

1 package powdered gravy pouch (plus ingredients per package to make gravy)

1 pound sausage, any flavour

1 cup cheese, shredded

1/2 cup milk

salt and pepper, to taste

How to make Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking spray or smear with butter.

Step 3: Into inch pieces, cut the biscuit dough.

Step 4: Line the bottom of the greased pan with the biscuit dough.

Step 5: Cook the sausage until brown. Drain excess grease.

Step 6: Over the pieces of biscuit, scatter the browned sausage and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Step 7: In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk with a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour this over the pan.

Step 8: Prepare the gravy following the package directions. When done, pour this over the pan as well.

Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes. Cooking time varies depending on how hot your oven runs.

Step 10: Remove from the oven. Slice and serve immediately. Enjoy!
