Big Mac Egg Rolls

by Rebecca May 26, 2021

PREP TIME: 10 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 25 MINS | YIELDS: 12

These Big Mac Egg Rolls are delicious! I made these yesterday, brought them to the office, and everyone was raving about how tasty they were! Freaking easy and quick to make, some says it’s great to make in an air fryer as well and I am tempted to try. For now, I enjoy these fry egg rolls, and don’t forget the simple sauce that goes with it!

INGREDIENTS

EGG ROLLS:

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

12 Egg roll wrappers

12 slices American cheese

1/2 cup chopped dill pickles

3 tablespoons white sesame seeds

SAUCE:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon Paprika

How to make Big Mac Egg Rolls

Step 1: Place the ground beef, mustard, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium skillet. Stir to combine, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat until no longer pink. When done, remove from the heat and drain.

Step 2: On a clean surface, lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. In the middle, place a folded slice of cheese, top with around 3 tbsp cooked beef, then pickles. Fold up the bottom half, fold the sides tightly, gently roll, and seal the fold with a few drops of water.

Step 3: Heat oil enough to reach an inch up the sides of a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil begins to bubble, add the egg rolls to the pan and fry for about a minute on each side until golden. To a paper towel-lined plate, transfer the egg rolls when done cooking and quickly top with sesame seeds.

Step 4: Place the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, vinegar, and paprika in a small bowl. Whisk to make the sauce until smooth. Serve this with the egg rolls. Enjoy!
