My kids are obsessed with this tater tot casserole! This has been one of their most requested, and they are never tried to enjoy this any night of the week! This casserole has layers of delightful flavors that no one can say no to. If you are looking for another easy weeknight dinner that you can throw together quickly, then you are in luck. This tater tot casserole is the best option you’ve got!

Ingredients

1/2 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound lean ground beef (the leaner the better)

2 c. frozen tater tots

15 ounces can of green beans, drained

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

salt and pepper to taste

10.75 ounces can condense cream of mushroom soup

How to make The BEST Tater Tot Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F using a cooking spray, lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish, and set aside.

Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until brown. Then, drain the excess grease. To the meat, add the onions and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until translucent. Next, add the garlic and continue to cook for a minute more, stirring frequently. Lastly, whisk in the Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 3: To the prepared baking dish, transfer the ground beef mixture, spreading evenly. On top, pour the cream of mushroom soup and add the green beans, then cheddar cheese. Do not forget to season the green bean layer. On top, layer the tater tots.

Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven when done, and serve the casserole right away. Enjoy!
