Oven Baked St Louis Style Ribs

This is the best way to cook ribs! These Oven Baked St. Louis Style Ribs are insanely delicious! Coated with BBQ sauce, every bite of these delicious treats is just pure joy! Almost 3 hours of cooking time is so worth it! Serve these ribs as is or with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 c (or more if needed) Barbecue sauce of your choice

3-4 lbs. St Louis Ribs

For the Spice Rub:

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 tablespoons paprika

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the marinade. Stir everything until well incorporated.

Add ribs into the bowl with the marinade, then rub each to coat. Let the ribs marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F. Position the rack in the center of the oven.

Wrap the ribs with foil, then place them onto a baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the ribs for about 2 hours.

Remove from the oven and brush each rib with BBQ sauce. Put them back in the oven and bake for 20 more minutes.

Remove from the oven.

Serve right away. Enjoy!

Notes:

You can grill these ribs at over 350 degrees F for an hour. Make sure to wrap them with foil. Brush with BBQ sauce and grill for another 15 minutes.

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
