Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 30 mins | Total Time: 45 mins | Yield: 4 Servings

These Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are simply amazing! If you want to surprise your loved ones with the best treats today, then this recipe is the best one to try. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 c granulated sugar

1 c butter, room temperature

2 c old-fashioned rolled oats

1 c light brown sugar, packed

2 c chocolate chips, semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or a little of both!

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 c all-purpose flour

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 large Eggs

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Apply cooking spray to the inside of a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Add white sugar, butter, and brown sugar into a large mixing bowl. Beat a few times until well incorporated and smooth.

Gradually add the eggs, then beat every addition until well incorporated. Add the vanilla and stir until well blended.

Add rolled oats, salt, flour, baking soda, and baking powder into another mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.

Transfer the flour mixture into the bowl with the wet ingredients, then stir until well combined.

Add the chocolate chips and stir until well incorporated.

Transfer the batter to the greased pan and spread it evenly. Make sure to press it to the side and bottom.

Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.

Cut into even servings.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

Leftovers can last up to 5 days at room temperature.

You can freeze these cookies by putting them inside a resealable bag. They can last up to 3 months.
