Best French Meat Pie

You will surely enjoy this Pie! Think about beef and pork together in on tasty Pie? How awesome is that? Once you get a bite of this delicious treat, You will surely eat a lot more so prepare yourself! I have listed all the ingredients that you need and the steps that you need to follow to guide you to perfection. Be very generous with the ingredients by the way for a full-packed meal. INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef

8 ounces ground pork

1⁄2 cup onion, finely chopped

1⁄2 cup water

2 large potatoes, peeled, cut into quarters

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1⁄4 teaspoon allspice

1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves

1⁄8 teaspoon pepper

1 double-crust pie crust

How to make Best French Meat Pie

Step 1: In a medium saucepan, add water, beef, pork, and onion.

Step 2: Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to low.

Step 3: Cover and cook until the beef and pork are cooked and tender.

Step 4: In a small saucepan, pour water and add the potatoes.

Step 5: Place the small saucepan on the stove and cover. Bring to boil and cook the potatoes until tender then drain the water.

Step 6: Add in the cooked potatoes into the beef and pork mixture.

Step 7: Season with Allspice, cloves, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-mixed.

Step 8: Remove the saucepan from the heat.

Step 9: Take the cooked potatoes and mash completely.

Step 10: Lightly spread flour and roll into 11-inch circles the pastry.

Step 11: Fill a 9-inch pie plate with 1 pastry.

Step 12: Add the meat mixture and fill the pie plate.

Step 13: Cover the meat mixture with the rest of the pastry. Cut the edges and multiple vents.

Step 14: Place inside the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees or until the crust turns golden brown.

Step 15: Remove from the oven and let sit on a wire rack.

Step 16: Serve and enjoy!
