Ingredients:

1 (8 ounces) container Cool Whip (any variety you prefer) – thawed

Confectioners’ sugar

1 (18.25 ounces) box of cake mix (any flavor you prefer)

1 Egg

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Add egg, cake mix powder, and cool whip into a large mixing bowl. Beat everything until well incorporated.

Shape the mixture into small balls of dough.

In a mixing bowl, add confectioners’ sugar. Put the balls in it and roll them until fully coated.

Lay the balls onto a cookie sheet and arrange them in a single layer.

Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for about 10 to 12 minutes or until done.

Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool completely at room temperature.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

Chill the dough for at least 15 minutes if it is too sticky to handle. Make sure to oil your hands to prevent them from sticking to your fingers.

Make sure to line the cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge or counter.

Feel free to use candy canes or mint chocolate chips for this recipe if you prefer.

You can also use orange cake mix for this recipe. Add orange zest for more orange flavors!

If you are going to use lemon juice, make sure to add lemon zest as well!
