Best Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake

by Rebecca August 28, 2021

Two words – crazy amazing! This mind-blowing cake is my new obsession. It’s one of the best cakes I’ve made so far. I make this, especially whenever I am craving a cinnamon roll. Traditional cinnamon rolls take an effort to make but this, it’s easy peasy with the same if not better. Enjoy this with a simple cream glaze if desired or serve by itself. Made this many times, and as always, the result is amazing! Try this Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake soon – it’s perfect for every occasion!

Ingredients

3 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/2 cups milk

2 Eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

4 tablespoons butter, melted

2 stick (1 cup) butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2/3 cup nuts (optional), I used finely chopped pecans

2 cups powdered sugar

5 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

How to make Best Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake

Step 1: Beat 3 cups of flour with sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla using an electric mixer or stand-up mixer until well combined. Then, gradually stir in 4 tablespoons of melted butter. Into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, pour the batter.

Step 2: Combine 2 sticks of softened butter with brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, and nuts in a large bowl until well mixed. Over the batter, evenly drop the mixture by tablespoon. Marble/swirl the mixture using a knife throughout the cake.

Step 3: Place in a 350 degrees oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.

Step 4: Meanwhile, add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to a large bowl. Mix until smooth, then drizzle it over the warm cake.

Step 5: Slice and serve the cake warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
