½ teaspoon Onion Powder
1 kg chicken thighs and legs With skin and bone-in
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
¾ cup BBQ Sauce
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST BBQ CHICKEN IN THE OVEN
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat it to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C. Using foil, line a baking tray.
Step 2: Pat dry the pieces of chicken using paper towels.
Step 3: Into a mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients, and mix well.
Step 4: Onto the prepared tray, evenly arrange the pieces of chicken, leaving enough space between each piece.
Step 5: Over the chicken pieces sprinkle the seasonings. Rub to coat and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes.
Step 6: After 20 minutes, generously brush the chicken with the barbecue sauce. Return to the oven and adjust the oven temperature to 425 degrees F. Resume baking for 10 minutes more.
Step 7: After 10 minutes, crush the chicken pieces again with the barbecue sauce and bake for additional 10 minutes.
Step 8: To encourage browning, broil the chicken for about 3 minutes.
