Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Big on taste and incredibly easy to throw together, this Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta is another awesome addition to your weekly menu rotation! Made with only a few ingredients and ready in less than twenty minutes, this packed of spice and scrumptious shrimp pasta is a must! Feel free to swap the shrimp with scallops if desired and use any of your preferred pasta.

Enjoy a plate of spaghetti and shrimp coated in a simple seasoning in a deliciously creamy sauce any time with this simple recipe.

Ingredients

Sauce:

½ c. mayo

½ c. sweet chilli sauce

1 lime juice

1 ½ tsp sriracha sauce

Pasta and Shrimp:

1 ½ tbsp olive oil

12 oz. medium shrimp peeled and deveined

8 oz. spaghetti noodles (cooked according to package directions and drained)

2 tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp fresh garlic minced

⅛ tsp red pepper flakes

fresh chopped parsley or fresh chopped cilantro (optional garnish)

½ tsp kosher salt

½ tsp fresh cracked black pepper

How to make Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Step 1: To make the sauce, place the mayo, sweet chilli sauce, lime juice, and sriracha sauce in a mixing bowl. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Step 2: Place the shrimp in a medium-size mixing bowl, along with half tbsp olive oil, fresh minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss the shrimp into the seasonings until completely coated.

Step 3: Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil in a large 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Then, add the coated shrimp and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly until the shrimp are evenly cooked. Turn the heat off once done.

Step 4: Over the cooked shrimp, add the cooked spaghetti and pour the sauce on top. Toss to coat the noodles and shrimp well.

Step 5: Serve the shrimp pasta right away garnished with some fresh chopped parsley or chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
