PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 10 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 20 MINS | SERVINGS: 4

Today is another pasta day. My kids are always looking forward to pasta day. I am cooking one of their favourite, bang bang shrimp pasta. It is super easy and quick to make using only a few pantry ingredients. The shrimp and pasta are tossed in a daring, creamy, and delicious sauce packed with spices. It is a pretty simple recipe that you can throw together even with your busy schedule. Big in flavour and taste and guarantee to impress everyone around the table!

Ingredients

Sauce:

½ c. sweet chilli sauce

1 ½ tsp sriracha sauce

1 lime juice

½ c. mayo

Pasta and Shrimp:

1 ½ tbsp olive oil

12 oz. medium shrimp peeled and deveined

8 oz. spaghetti noodles cooked according to package directions and drained

1 tbsp fresh garlic minced

⅛ tsp red pepper flakes

2 tsp smoked paprika

fresh chopped parsley or fresh chopped cilantro (optional garnish)

½ tsp kosher salt

½ tsp fresh cracked black pepper

How to make Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Sauce:

Step 1: Place the mayo, sweet chilli sauce, lime juice, and sriracha sauce in a small mixing bowl. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Pasta and Shrimp:

Step 2: Add the shrimp to a medium-sized mixing bowl and toss with half tbsp olive oil, fresh minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Step 3: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the coated shrimp into the skillet and cook, stirring, for about 8 to 10 minutes until the shrimp are evenly cooked. When done, turn the heat off.

Step 4: While the skillet is still on the stovetop, add the cooked spaghetti and sauce. Toss until the noodles and shrimp are completely coated.

Step 5: Before serving, garnish the shrimp pasta with some fresh chopped parsley or fresh chopped cilantro. Enjoy while still hot.
