This cake has been my favourite of all time! I used fresh bananas for the topping, and it’s freaking amazing! I was immediately hooked by the slightly crunchy yet melt-in-your-mouth experience of this decadent dessert. A must-try for all the banana lovers out there!

How to make Banana Pudding Cake With Cream Cheese Glaze

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees F. Grease, then flour a 12 cup capacity standard bundt pan.

Step 2: Place the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to combine and set aside.

Step 3: Cream the butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed with a paddle attachment for approximately 2 to 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the banana pudding mix, mixing on low for another 3 to 4 minutes until the pudding mix is dissolved. Then, beat in the eggs a piece at a time until completely incorporated.

Step 4: In a large measuring cup or bowl, whisk the milk with oil and vanilla.

Step 5: Begin pouring a third of the wet ingredients into a bowl alternately with the dry ingredients beating every after each addition. After adding the last portion of the wet ingredients, mix well for about 2 minutes on medium speed.

Step 6: Into the prepared bundt pan, pour the cake batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. When done, remove the cake from the oven and onto a baking rack to cool.

Step 7: Meanwhile, combine the glaze ingredients until smooth. Once the cake is completely cool, drizzle the glaze all over the cake and top with slices of fresh bananas.
