Baked Teriyaki Salmon

by Rebecca October 13, 2021

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Servings: 4

This is my favourite salmon recipe. It’s super easy to make and promises a perfectly flaky and tender salmon with a luscious homemade teriyaki sauce. If you are looking for a filling lunch or dinner, then this is a must-try and for keeps! Make this in less than thirty minutes and serve it this perfectly baked teriyaki salmon with rice or quinoa along the side.

I love meals I can prep in no time, and this teriyaki salmon is one of my go-to. The sauce is crazy delicious, gluten-free, and can easily be made from scratch using just a few pantry ingredients. This also is excellent if you love meal prep.

Dinner is ready in under thirty minutes with this tender and flaky salmon in a homemade teriyaki sauce served with a side of rice and quinoa. You can also enjoy this with your fave veggies. Either way, this is a fantastic weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

1 Green Onion sliced

1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

4 Skinless Salmon Fillets about 6 ounces each

Teriyaki Sauce:

½ tablespoon Gluten-free flour

⅓ c. Low-sodium soy sauce

¼ c. Fresh orange juice

2 tablespoons Honey

2-3 tablespoons Water

1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

½ Lemon juiced

2 Garlic Cloves minced

1 teaspoon Chili Flakes or to taste

How to make Baked Teriyaki Salmon

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Place the teriyaki sauce ingredients (flour, soy sauce, orange juice, honey, water, fresh ginger, lemon juice, garlic, and chilli flakes) in a small bowl and mix well.

Step 3: Using nonstick cooking spray, grease a baking dish. Place the salmon in and pour the sauce over. Place in the preheated oven and bake the salmon for about 12 to 15 minutes or until completely cooked and flaky.

Step 4: When done, remove the salmon from the oven and spoon the thickened sauce over the chops. Serve garnished with some sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
