Baked Salmon with Lemon Parmesan Shrimp

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Yield: 2 Servings

Serve this with a fresh salad, and you have yourself a meal to remember! This Baked Salmon with Lemon Parmesan Shrimp is total comfort food! Fresh seafood in a creamy sauce, what’s not to like? Enjoy!

Ingredients:

8 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tsp parsley flakes

½ c grated Parmesan

1 tsp minced garlic

2 medium lemons

½ lb. fresh shrimp

½ tsp salt

2 filets of fresh salmon

¼ c heavy whipping cream

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add 4 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.

Add the minced garlic, then sauté for about a minute or until aromatic. Season with sea salt.

Add the salmon fillets, then spoon over the garlic butter on top.

Add the lemon slices over the salmon. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and cook the salmon for 15 minutes or until done.

Place another pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add 4 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.

Add the shrimp into the 2nd pan, then cook for a few minutes until they become pinkish.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese, heavy whipping cream, and parsley until well incorporated. Simmer for a few minutes.

Remove the pan from the stove and allow the sauce to become thick.

Remove the pan with the salmon from the oven and allow them to sit at room temperature for at least 3 minutes. Dish out!

Add the shrimp mixture on top of the salmon.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.
