Baked Garlic-Parmesan Meatballs

by Rebecca September 22, 2021

Servings: 30 Meatballs

I cannot think of anyone who actually hates or simply does not like meatballs. I mean, meatballs are a staple in most households. There are so many meatballs recipes lurking on the internet, and it’s already overwhelming! But there is one recipe that I know I will keep, this Baked Garlic-Parmesan Meatballs – nice and crispy on the outside with loads of flavour!

Ingredients

1 egg

1 pound Lean Ground Beef

3 tablespoons Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs

2 tablespoons Minced Garlic

Salt & Pepper to taste

1/2 c. Grated Parmesan Cheese extra for Garnish

2 tablespoons Dried or Fresh Parsley extra for Garnish

How to make Baked Garlic-Parmesan Meatballs

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil and grease with cooking spray.

Step 3: In a large bowl, place all the ingredients (lean ground beef, egg, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper). Mix using a spoon or your hands.

Step 4: Now, scoop a tbsp of the mixture and shape it into a ball. Repeat until you have made around 30 meatballs. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and serve the meatballs garnished with some fresh parsley and Parmesan. Enjoy!

Notes:

Make the meatballs ahead and cool them completely before placing them in different freezer-Ziploc bags and storing them in the freezer for up to a month. When ready to eat, simply reheat in the microwave for about a minute.

Some people do not want to touch the meat, so if you are one of them you can easily shape the mixture by using a measuring spoon and a normal spoon. Scoop the meat using a measuring spoon, then tap the mixture around with a normal spoon to push it into the measuring spoon. Do this a few times, scooping the meat in and out of the cup with a normal spoon.
