by Rebecca January 18, 2021

PREP TIME: 5 mins | COOK TIME: 15 mins | TOTAL TIME: 25 mins | SERVINGS: 6

Say no more to dry chicken! This Baked Chicken breast is not only easy and quick but the most flavorful, tender, and juicy baked chicken breast. With readily available ingredients and simple steps, you’ll have this dinner on your table in under thirty minutes! My favourite chicken recipe. Unfussy, delicious, and always a winner!

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 4 medium-size breasts

2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder or paprika

How to make BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees.

Step 2: Lightly pound the chicken breasts for an even thickness.

Step 3: In a 13 x 9-inches baking dish, drizzle 2 tbsp olive oil.

Step 4: Coat the chicken breast with a bit of oil, then place side by side into the prepared baking dish.

Step 5: Place the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chilli powder (or paprika) in a small bowl. Whisk to combine.

Step 6: On both sides of the chicken breasts, sprinkle the seasoning mixture. Coat well by rubbing the seasoning with our hands.

Step 7: Lay the chicken breasts side by side, ensuring they don’t overlap.

Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the juices are clear and the internal temperature of the chicken breast reaches 160 to 170 degrees. The cooking time varies depending on the size of the chicken breasts.

Step 9: Use foil to cover the chicken. Let the juices settle for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 10: Serve hot. Enjoy!
