by Rebecca February 11, 2022

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Total Time: 40 mins | Yield: 8 to 10 Servings

My mornings are never boring because of these bagel breakfast sliders! All our favourite breakfast sandwiches in toasty bagels. Yum! This is a very simple recipe that anyone can easily throw together. The sliders come out super good always. No doubt why these bagel breakfast sliders are everyone’s favourite!

Ingredients

3 tbsp butter, melted

8 slices bacon

8 eggs

10 mini bagels, halved

2 tsp granulated garlic

2 tsp dried onion

1/4 c. milk

4 tbsp cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp finely chopped chives

2 tsp sesame seeds

2 tsp poppy seeds

1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Freshly ground black pepper

kosher salt

Cooking spray, for pan

HOW TO MAKE BAGEL BREAKFAST SLIDERS

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: Grease a large baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3: Into a large mixing bowl, beat the milk and eggs until well blended.

Step 4: To a hot large skillet, add the slices of bacon and cook over medium heat until brown and crispy. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

Step 5: Keep about 1 tablespoon bacon grease in the skillet and discard the rest. Adjust the heat to medium-low, then add the egg mixture to the skillet. To taste, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chives. Scramble the egg and cook. Set aside when done.

Step 6: With cream cheese, brush each bagel half. Place the bagels into the prepared baking dish and evenly top with the egg mixture, bacon, then cheddar cheese. On top of the bagels, brush the melted butter. Sprinkle each bagel with granulated garlic, sesame seeds, dried onions, and poppy seeds.

Step 7: Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Step 8: Remove from the oven when done and serve the sliders warm. Enjoy!
