I had breakfast in bed today. My kids and my husband surprised me with a freshly brewed coffee and my favorite bacon cheese biscuits. I nearly cried because they don’t do this thing often. I’m super busy lately so I forgot what day today is. I can’t ask for anything anymore. I have a very loving family and had savory, delicious biscuits for breakfast! And I didn’t even know that my husband can cook! Well, he nailed it! That is all I can say.
It’s a pretty easy recipe, the ingredients are simple and if you are like me (who loves onions) you can add them too, and another layer of scrambled eggs to make this biscuit even more delicious. Happy Mother’s Day!

2 cans of crescent rolls (you can use biscuits too)
Cheese (Whatever type you like)
12oz or 16oz package of bacon, cooked
flour for dusting (optional)
HOW TO MAKE BACON CHEESE BISCUITS
Step 1: Prepare the oven by preheating it to 375 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with a non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2: Unroll one can of crescent rolls or half can of biscuit on a lightly floured table. Use a rolling pin or your hands to knead the dough. Lightly press the seams together and stretch a bit to make a nice triangle.
Step 3: Layer the cheese and add a layer of bacon over it.
Step 4: Now, unroll the other can of the crescent roll and layer on top pressing the seams together (top and all around).
Step 5: Slice into squares using a pizza cutter (or knife).
Step 6: Carefully place the slices (make sure the squares are touching each other) on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the top are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 3-5 minutes in a wire rack.
Step 8: Serve and Enjoy!
