APPLE ENCHILADAS

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Yield: 6 to 8 servings

These delicious seven ingredients Apple Enchiladas are ready in under 20 minutes. A Mexican inspired dish that is perfect for everybody! A sweet treat that is not fussy, super simple, and forever a winner.

I bet you have all these ingredients in your pantry, grab them now, make this easy and quick treat, and watch the kids finish the whole servings. Serve these on your next taco Tuesday and I am pretty sure that this will be a hit! The kids will love and crave for these over and over again. Beware though, these are addicting! Not overwhelmingly sweet, just perfect, and every bite is heaven! Satisfy your sweet tooth with these easy tasty apple enchiladas.

Ingredients

21 oz can apple pie filling

6 (8″) tortillas

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 c butter

1/2 c white sugar

1/2 c brown sugar

1/2 c water

HOW TO MAKE APPLE ENCHILADAS

Step 1: Ready a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

Step 2: In the middle of each tortilla, spoon around a quarter cup of the pie filling. Sprinkle over with cinnamon. Roll the tortillas and secure by tucking in the sides. Put the rolled tortillas seam side down onto the prepared casserole dish.

Step 3: Heat the butter, water, brown sugar, and white sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until combined and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 4: Stir often and simmer for about 3 minutes over low heat.

Step 5: Once done, pour the sauce over the enchiladas and let it sit for around 45 minutes.

Step 6: Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees F or until golden brown.

Step 7: Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature for at least 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
