2 eggs
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 apple, peeled and chopped
⅔ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup butter softened
½ cup milk
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¾ teaspoon baking powder
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
HOW TO MAKE APPLE CINNAMON WHITE CAKE
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and sprinkle with flour.
Step 2: Place the cinnamon and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix well until blended.
Step 3: Add the butter and white sugar to a different mixing bowl. Beat until well combined. Then, add the eggs, one at a time, beating every after each addition. Now, stir in the vanilla extract until well mixed.
Step 4: Whisk the baking powder and flour in another mixing bowl until well incorporated.
Step 5: Into the butter mixture, pour the flour mixture and mix well until just combined. Then, stir in the milk.
Step 6: Into the prepared pan, spread half of the batter and top with half of the apples, then sprinkle with half of the brown sugar mixture. Do the same with the remaining ingredients.
Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
Step 8: When done, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool a little at room temperature before slicing. Enjoy!
