500 grams Pasta your choice (16 ounces)
1 tablespoon Olive Oil extra-virgin
1 Onion chopped
750 grams Lean Ground Beef (1 1/2 pounds)
1 can Tomato Soup
1 can Mushroom Soup
1 c. Milk
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Dried Parsley
How to make Amish Country Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Using cooking spray, grease a large oven dish.
Step 3: According to package instructions, cook the pasta in a large pot.
Step 4: In olive oil, saute the onion until soft. Add in the ground beef and continue to cook until done.
Step 5: Drain the pasta when done cooking and add to the pot.
Step 6: To the pasta, add the cooked meat, tomato and mushroom soups, and milk. Stir well and season according to taste.
Step 7: Into the prepared oven dish, transfer the mixture. Place in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 25 to 30 minutes.
