Ingredients:

2 c cheddar cheese, grated

1/2 c green onions, finely chopped

1 (14-ounce) can of French bread dough (can substitute pizza dough if needed)

1/2-pound bacon

1 tbsp steak seasoning

1/2 yellow onion, diced

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 pound ground beef

2 tbsp butter, melted

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.

Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the bacon, then cook for a few minutes until crispy.

Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate. Roughly chop into small cuts.

Remove the accumulated fat from the skillet, then add the ground beef and onion. Cook for about 5 minutes or until crumbly and brown. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and steak seasoning to taste.

Put the chopped bacon back into the skillet together with the green onions. Discard any accumulated fat.

Unroll the French bread dough and shape it into a rectangle.

Add the beef mixture on top of the dough and spread it evenly. Make sure to leave a small space on the sides of the dough.

Scatter the grated cheese over the beef mixture. Roll it up and tuck the sides. Place it onto a baking sheet.

Coat the top of the Garbage Bread with melted butter.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the Garbage Bread for about 25 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven.

Serve and enjoy!
