Grilled cheese made in an air fryer! This is super amazing, and you only need three ingredients to whip this up. This recipe is very simple that even your children can make this. I taught my daughter (and she’s just seven!) how to use the air fryer when I first bought it and she’s loving her air fryer journey. I failed to prep her breakfast one morning because I woke up super late due to my always busy schedule, and she made this grilled cheese by herself. I was so happy and proud! Feel free to pair this perfectly grilled sandwich with melted cheese with many different side dishes for a quick and easy meal any day! My daughter loves this air fryer grilled cheese with air fryer French fries and tater tots (that she can also make by herself).
I think the air fryer is one of the best inventions. Who would have thought that you can make a beautifully toasted sandwich in the air fryer? I am impressed and obsessed! After my first air fryer grilled cheese, I never go back to skillet. And the air fryer is so easy to use, you just add the food to the air fryer basket and set it to cook.

3 tbsp butter could also use mayonnaise
4 pieces sandwich bread
4 slices cheese (I used 2 each of cheddar and Havarti)
How to make Air Fryer Grilled Cheese
Step 1: On one side of each piece of bread, spread the butter or mayonnaise.
Step 2: In an air fryer basket, lay a piece of bread, spread side down. Top the bread with 2 slices of cheese. Add the second piece of bread on top, spread-side down.
Step 3: At 370 degrees, toast the sandwiches for about 4 minutes. Turn the sandwiches over and continue to toast for additional 4 minutes.
Step 4: When done, serve the air fryer grilled sandwiches right away. Enjoy!
