7 Can Chicken Taco Soup

I cannot believe that such a delicious taco soup is so easy to make. Simply empty the seven cans into a large soup pot along with some seasoning and let them cook for a couple of minutes. In no time you’ll be able to enjoy this unbelievable dish with tortilla chips, cheese, and sour cream.

If you have not to use canned chicken before and you feel a bit doubtful, all that will change after you give this 7 Can Chicken Taco Soup a try. Just a few of the ingredients dumped in a pot, this is seriously the easiest, quickest you can make to dazzle everyone!

Ingredients

1 can of black beans (drained & rinsed)

1 can of pinto beans (drained & rinsed)

1 can petite diced tomatoes (undrained)

1 can sweet corn (drained)

1 can (12.5 ounces) chicken breast (drained & flaked)

1 can (10 ounces) green enchilada sauce

1 can (14 ounces) low-sodium chicken broth

1 packet taco seasoning

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

How to make 7 Can Chicken Taco Soup

Step 1: Into a large soup pot, combine all the ingredients (black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, sweet corn, chicken breast, green enchilada sauce, chicken broth, taco seasoning, cumin, chilli powder, and garlic powder).

Step 2: Bring everything to a boil over medium-high heat. Adjust the heat to low once boiling, then simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3: Enjoy with some tortilla chips, shredded cheese, sour cream, and avocado.

Notes:

Feel free to use 1 1/2 cups of shredded chicken if desired.

You can use a packet of mild taco seasoning for this recipe.
