Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 12 mins | Serves: 8 Rolls
Lovely, perfectly sweet, with blueberry bites and rich and sweet cream cheese. This five ingredients dessert is a must! Fun to make, not fussy at all, and a delight! The star in my dessert table and a crowd favourite.
The trick is to be patient because cream cheese needs to set first. So you have to keep these rolls in the fridge for a few hours to chill. But the wait is worth it! This effortless dessert you can throw together in just ten minutes. Simple, will not hurt your pocket, and luscious!
INGREDIENTS
3 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 (8 ounces) tube of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
2/3 c. fresh blueberries
How to make 5-Ingredient Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Place the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Whisk with a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Step 3: Into 8 triangles, separate the canned crescent rolls along their perforated seams. On a clean, flat surface, place a triangle of dough with a short, wide end facing your direction and the long triangle pointing away.
Step 4: Across the bottom third of the dough triangle, spread a tbsp cream cheese mixture and top with two rows of blueberries.
Step 5: Starting from the end nearest you, roll the dough forward to the tip of the triangle.
Step 6: Onto a baking sheet, place the roll. Do this for the rest of the ingredients until you have 8 rolls.
Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 10 to 13 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
Step 8: Enjoy warm.
