Sounds fancy and a lot of work but this 4 Layer Pizza Dip is utterly simple to prepare. Perfect for anytime snack, party, or happy hour, this super crazy delicious pizza dip is beyond words! Packed with layers of gooey cheese, marinara sauce, and your favourite pizza toppings, this dip is all it takes to impress everyone around the table.
Sinful, pretty awesome, I can just eat it as a meal any time! And anything pizza is simply heaven! If you love pizza so much, this sure will sweep you off your feet. I can already taste it just by looking at it. I am drooling!
INGREDIENTS
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
8 oz finely shredded Italian cheese blend (divided)
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
12 slices pepperoni
4 slices cooked bacon, chopped (or 1/4 c. real bacon pieces)
HOW TO MAKE 4 LAYER PIZZA DIP
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Put the tomatoes, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a blender. Pulse to puree then set aside.
Step 3: Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and 2 ounces of shredded cheese in a medium bowl. Mix well until incorporated.
Step 4: In an even layer, spread the cream mixture over the baking dish or pie plate. On top, pour the blended pizza sauce or tomato mixture. Using a spatula, distribute evenly.
Step 5: Over the pizza sauce, sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese and top with bacon and pepperoni.
Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly is brown.
Step 7: Enjoy with Parmesan Herb Bread Sticks.
