Ingredients
2 cups butter, softened (no substitutions)
6 cups powdered sugar (approximately)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoon almond extract
food colouring (optional)
How to make 4 Ingredients Sugar Cookie Buttercream Frosting
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and extracts. Add in the powdered sugar a little at a time, beating every after each addition until you have your desired texture. In case you add too much sugar, you can add in a little milk, too.
Step 2: Feel free to add food colouring if desired and make sure to blend well. Then, into different bowls, split the frosting if you intend to make an assortment of colours or you can simply keep it clean white.
Step 3: Transfer the frosting to a piping bag or Ziploc bag and just snip off one corner to use it as a piping bag. If desired, you can frost using a spatula. Remember not to use generic bags because the seam could burst open.
