What is the easiest casserole you’ve ever made? That’s easy! This Hamburger Casserole is the easiest I’ve made! I have been making this for years, and this casserole still is my ultimate go-to. To make this casserole, all you need are four main ingredients. You can easily throw this casserole together at the last minute. Enjoy a filling, very comforting weeknight dinner with this hamburger casserole! Tastes like a cheeseburger, but in a casserole form! If you are always in the mood for pasta and craving cheeseburgers, this delicious Hamburger Casserole will do the trick!

INGREDIENTS

1 pound of ground beef

1 pound medium shell pasta

1 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, grated

1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste, or seasoned salt

2 (10 ounces each) cans of tomato soup

How to make 4-Ingredient Hamburger Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Ready a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Grease and set aside.

Step 2: Following the package directions, cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain the pasta when done and set it aside.

Step 3: In the meantime, cook the hamburger in a skillet, breaking the meat into chunks until browned. If desired, you can season the hamburger with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, etc.

Step 4: Into the prepared baking dish, place the ground beef, tomato soup, pasta, half a cup of water, and half of the cheeses. Stir well and top with the rest of the cheese. Tent the dish with foil and place it into the preheated oven. Bake the casserole for about 20 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for additional 10 minutes. To brown the cheese further, you can broil the casserole for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and serve the casserole immediately. Enjoy!
