PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 20 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 30 MINS | YIELD: About 20 Bites

Looking for a new party hit? These 3-ingredient crescent sausage bites are the next big thing! Incredibly easy and quick to throw together using only four ingredients including, salt and ground black pepper!

It’s almost Christmas, and finding this simple recipe is perfect timing! I am certain that my kids, even the adults, would love not just a piece but more! If preferred, you can also serve these bites for breakfast or brunch with some fresh fruits. Even for dinner with a simple side salad.

INGREDIENTS

2 packages crescent rolls

1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese

1 pound hot sausage (pork or turkey)

Dash salt & ground black pepper

HOW TO MAKE 3-INGREDIENT CRESCENT SAUSAGE BITES

Step 1: Cook the sausage in a saute pan until no longer pink. Drain the excess grease when done. Sprinkle the sausage with a dash of salt and pepper. Add the cream cheese and mix until melted.

Step 2: On a baking sheet, place an unrolled package of crescent rolls. Gently press the seams using your fingers to seal the rolls. Over the crescent roll dough, evenly spread the sausage mixture, making sure to leave around half an inch border on the edges.

Step 3: Place on top of the sausage mixture the other unrolled package of crescent rolls, gently pressing the roll to seal the edges.

Step 4: Place the baking sheet in a 375 degrees oven and bake the crescent sausage bites for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown.

Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and slice the dough into small squares. Use a pizza cutter if available for quicker and easier cutting. Serve and enjoy!

NOTES:

These bites are perfect as party food. You can also serve these for breakfast, brunch, or dinner with some fresh fruits.
