Healthy and delicious Honey Sesame Chicken ready in less than twenty minutes. This recipe has been one of my favorites and my go-to when I need something easy, quick, and delicious, especially during the busiest days. I love pairing this honey sesame chicken with brown rice (or white rice) and broccolini for a simple, yet filling weeknight meal that even my pickiest eaters love!

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp sesame oil, divided
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2” pieces
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp sriracha
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp honey
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Scallions, chopped, for serving
White rice, for serving
How to make 20-Minute Honey Sesame Chicken
Step 1: Place the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, and 1 tbsp of the sesame oil in a medium bowl. Mix well until combined and set aside.
Step 2: Place the in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Then, toss the chicken with cornstarch.
Step 3: Drizzle oil into a hot large skillet over high heat. Add the chicken and fry for about 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown. Pour in the sauce and allow it to simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes or until sticky and the sauce has thickened.
Step 4: Remove from the heat when done and serve the Honey Sesame Chicken immediately over white rice. If desired, sprinkle some scallions and more sesame seeds on top. Enjoy!
