INGREDIENTS
1.5 c. (12 ounces) bbq sauce, either homemade or store-bought
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3 pounds)
HOW TO MAKE 2-INGREDIENT SLOW COOKER BBQ CHICKEN
Step 1: In the bottom of your slow cooker, lay the chicken breasts. Pour over the bbq sauce, then toss to evenly coat the chicken. Put the lid on and set to cook the chicken on low for 6 to 8 hours or 3 to 4 hours on high or until the chicken is cooked through.
Step 2: When done, shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks. Give it a final toss, so the shredded chicken soaks up the rest of the juices.
Step 3: To serve, ladle the chicken on buns and drizzle with extra bbq sauce. Or feel free to serve the bbq chicken however you’d like. Enjoy!

Use gluten-free certified BBQ sauce for a gluten-free version.
Feel free to add 1/3 cup of packed brown sugar if you prefer sweeter BBQ chicken.
