Ingredients
1 c of water
1 c Minute Rice
2 tablespoons soy sauce ideally low-sodium
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 c vegetables fresh or frozen, type of your choice
1 large egg
1 tablespoon garlic minced
1 pinch salt to taste
1 pinch black pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE 10 MINUTE SIMPLE EGG FRIED RICE
Step 1: Place a small saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add the soy sauce and water, then allow it to boil.
Step 3: Add the uncooked rice right away. Cover the pan and allow the rice to cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Meanwhile, place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 5: Add the vegetable oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 6: Add the veggies, garlic, salt, and pepper. Saute for about 3 to 5 minutes or until aromatic and slightly toasted.
Step 7: Add 1 cracked egg and stir until well mixed with the veggies.
Step 8: Add the rice from the saucepan and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until the liquid from the rice has evaporated.
Step 9: Remove the skillet from the heat.
Step 10: Serve hot. Enjoy!
