I am crazy for dips and this is one of the best I’ve tasted in my life! If you love trying out new dips, you should not miss this taco dip. Enjoy this fantastic dip with corn chips, Doritos, tortilla chips, or your choice of dipping chips. You can also store this for up to 5 to 7 days and simply reheat it on the stove or in the microwave.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb Extra Lean Ground Beef browned, crumbled, and drained
1 16-ounces Jarred Salsa
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
2 8-ounces Cream Cheese softened and cubed
1 16-ounces Processed American Cheese cubed
How to make Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Taco Dip
Step 1: Cook the ground beef in a skillet, breaking the meat up until brown. When done, drain the excess grease.
Step 2: To a 3 to 4-quart slow cooker, add the browned ground beef, jarred salsa, taco seasoning, softened & cubed cream cheese, and American cheese. Cover with the lid, set to low, and cook for 2 hours while stirring often.
Step 3: When done, serve the Cream Cheese Taco Dip warm. Enjoy!
Note:
You can also make this dip in the oven but make sure to cook the hamburger first, then into an oven-safe pan, mix all the ingredients and bake in a 350 degrees preheated oven for approximately 40 to 50 minutes until bubbly in the middle.
