Simple Salisbury Steak

Prep Time: 8 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Servings: 4

This dish is worthy to include in your weeknight menu rotation. Simple, easy, and quick Salisbury Steak is an inexpensive and tasty meal to serve to your loved ones. Filling, comforting dish best serve with mashed potatoes and your choice of veggies. I’ve made it a lot of times and it is a hit time and time again. This sure is a reliable meal, a keeper, and a must!

Ingredients

Patties:

1 pound Lean Ground Beef

1/3 c Bread Crumbs

2 teaspoons Ketchup

1 teaspoon Mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire

1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

Gravy:

2 packets Brown Gravy Mix

2 c hot Water

1 teaspoon Ketchup

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire

How to make Simple Salisbury Steak

Step 1: In a large bowl, add the pattie ingredients; ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and onion powder. Combine by massaging the ingredients with your hands.

Step 2: In a large skillet, heat a tbsp oil over medium heat.

Step 3: Once the oil is hot, add the patties and cook each side until no longer pink.

Step 4: Adjust the heat to low.

Step 5: In a bowl, whisk the gravy mix with water until incorporated.

Step 6: Add the ketchup and Worcestershire to the gravy mixture and whisk until combined. Pour this over the patties.

Step 7: Let the gravy simmer until warm and thick.

Note:

I recommend using lean ground beef for the best results. You can even make your won gravy if desired.
