Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Servings: 6

The perfect side dish or a complete meal as is with meat, veggies, and potatoes. Well, seasoned and delicious Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole that is excellent anytime, any season!

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼-inch thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

2 15-ounces cans green beans, drained

1/8 c vegetable oil

1/4 c butter

1 c onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 c water

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.

Step 2: Use a non-stick spray to grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Wash and slice in half the creamer potatoes. Then, place them in a sealable gallon-size baggie along with oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Shake well to coat.

Step 4: Cook the sausage in a large frying pan with water over medium-high heat until browned and most of the water has disappeared.

Step 5: When done, remove the sausage from the pan and cool. When cool enough, add the cooked sausage into the baggie.

Step 6: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Saute the onions and garlic until translucent.

Step 7: Allow the onions and garlic to cool for several minutes before adding it into the baggie. Shake well to mix.

Step 8: Then, add the green beans into the baggie and shake again to mix.

Step 9: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use foil to cover and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Step 10: Once done, carefully remove the casserole from the oven and serve warm. Enjoy!
